Award Winning Sanyo Eneloop Bicycle

Sanyo Eneloop Bicycle received prize at the International CES Innovations 2010 Design and Engineering Awards.

Sanyo’s Synergetic Hybrid Bicycle (CY-SPA600NA) – an eneloop model – grabbed the Best of Innovations prize at the awards, which are now in their 33rd year. It scooped the highest overall score in the Eco-Design and Sustainable Technology category.

The eneloop concept is based on the philosophy of reusing resources such as energy by looping it in a sustainable cycle, said Sanyo.

The eneloop bike itself is a 26-inch, three-speed regenerative, pedal-assist hybrid electric bicycle.
